B.P Koirala India-Nepal Foundation supported the inaugural Glocal Teen Hero South Asia 2026 organized by Glocal Pvt. Ltd which brought together young changemakers from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka to recognize and celebrate teenagers making meaningful contributions through leadership, innovation, and community action. Launched on June 8, 2026, the initiative featured country-level selections followed by a regional finale in Nepal, including interviews, cultural exchanges, and an award ceremony on September 1, 2026. The title of Glocal Teen Hero South Asia 2026 was awarded to 19-year-old Atal Dev Dhakal of Achham, Nepal, a Climate Justice Advocate recognized for his dedication to climate action, youth engagement, and community advocacy.
